Day 3_Reflection

Designing and using multimedia and interactive content enhanced my understanding of how digital tools can transform teaching-learning processes. Exploring elements and types of multimedia helped me appreciate how text, visuals, audio, animation, and video together sustain students’ interest, motivation, and attention. Creating video lessons using tools such as PPT, screen recorders, and interactive platforms like Nearpod, Edpuzzle demonstrated how learning can move beyond passive viewing to active engagement. I was also introduced to computer inbuilt snipping tool that can be used for scanning, capturing the images or text that cannot be downloaded or copied and record the video.

Embedding questions within videos made learning more interactive and supported self-paced and asynchronous assessment, especially for distance learners in Nearpod. Integrating real-life contexts such as critical images, anecdotes, newspaper references, and speeches by His Majesty made the content more meaningful, culturally relevant, and discussion-oriented. Overall, this experience strengthened my skills in multimedia lesson production and reinforced the value of interactive digital multimedia in blended and online learning environments.
