Day 2_Reflection
Interactive and engaging lessons to promote learning
I believe lessons must be interactive because learning is most effective when students are actively involved rather than passive recipients of information. Interactive lessons transform classrooms into spaces where learners think, respond, collaborate, and reflect. I see interactive technology not as an add-on, but as a pedagogical strategy that enhances engagement, critical thinking, and inclusive education. When used purposefully, tools like Nearpod, Classpoint, Poll Everywhere and Slido transform lessons into meaningful learning experiences.
I drove into Nearpod deeply discovering and enhancing the knowledge with the genuine hope to embedded in teaching geography and could find its relevancy at the top. The strengths its provides are interactivity, engagement, instant feedback, and multimedia support making it ideal for formative learning. However, there are certain limitations that need to be considered. Some of them are lie in infrastructure needs (strong internet connections), feature restrictions in free plans. Moreover, it cannot be worked by different individual in the same link though it has a feature to work collaboratively. Furthermore, there is compatibility and technical glitches (which can be seen in our first assignment as well).
